Chemtrails as a form of weather manipulation have been around for decades. In this post, I will share information about the history and current use of sky spraying by governmental and private organizations.
Since at least 1958, the military has engaged in spraying particles into the air, presumably to study weather modification. These activities were sporadic in time and location. But around 2010, during the Obama Administration, the aerial spraying of particulates became a near-daily activity across North America, the European Union, the British Commonwealth, and other countries, including China, Egypt, India, Russia, and perhaps others.
This was a covert activity with denial and disinformation coordinated at all government levels. No information was made available on the particle compositions sprayed into the air we all breathe or on potentially adverse health risks.

In 1985, the Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) petroleum corporation applied for this patent: Method and apparatus for altering a region in the earth's atmosphere, ionosphere, and/or magnetosphere.
Here are a few paragraphs from this patent:
This invention relates to a method and apparatus for altering at least one selected region normally existing above the earth's surface and more particularly relates to a method and apparatus for altering said at least one region by initially transmitting electromagnetic radiation from the earth's surface essentially parallel to and along naturally-occurring, divergent magnetic field lines which extend from the earth's surface through the region or regions to be altered.
In recent years, a number of experiments have actually been carried out to modify the ionosphere in some controlled manner to investigate the possibility of a beneficial result. US Patent 4686605A
Interestingly, the patent above is classified under "directed energy weapons," "deceiving or protecting means," "structural form of radiating elements," and "arrangement for confining plasma by electric or magnetic fields."
